Tuesday, Oct. 31

8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: Fundamentals of Appraising Green, No. 156A - This course provides the student with an overview of what may constitute ""green building"" with a review of various agencies and private entities that provide guidance and ratings. Special emphasis is on both the principles and the practical applications of residential ""green"" valuation considerations. The content is useful not only to underwriters, lenders and evaluation professionals, but to all residential appraisers. Whether engaged in fulltime practice or provide only occasional green services, the knowledge and skills acquired will enhance every other type of valuation practice.

9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.: Appraisers Helping Appraisers, No. 031 (No charge - No CE) - This session is designed to assist appraisers in workflow processes, maximizing productivity and making more money via your peers with their shared experiences rather than a sales pitch.

Wednesday, Nov. 1

8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.: Red Flags in Property Inspection, No. 157 - The course is designed for appraisers, lenders and brokers to give them insight into inspecting sites and improvements, using the comprehensive guidance contained in the text of the same title. Included is a publication placing emphasis on conditions that may adversely affect security, safety, physical conditions and other conditions that may affect value. On completion the student is able to address applicable elements of the International Building Code and whom to contact for information on apparent adverse conditions.
