About the Appraisal Summit
A trip down memory lane.
Appraisal Summit History
The Appraisal Summit (formerly the Appraisal Summit and Expo) was started for three reasons. First, with all the problems appraisers were having across the states in 2008 and 2009, we saw a need to pull them together, and give them an opportunity to exchange information on a national basis. Second, we believed that while traditional CE classes might be good, they do not provide exposure to a wide variety of information from some of the most influential members of the valuation and financial services groups. Third, it offers exposure to exhibitors who offer a wide variety of timely appraisal services.
Attending the Summit gives you the opportunity to hear from appraisal leaders who are making a difference in the profession.
The Summit is focused on “the Boots on the Ground” appraiser, not the “suits.”
Networking… a lot of business communication is done via the phone, email, post, newsletters, and social media. No matter how great they may be, they cannot replace face-to-face dialogue.
Earn Appraiser Continuing Education (this includes pre-Summit education).
Hear what’s going on from a national perspective.
Great door prizes from exhibitors.
Participation gives you the opportunity to meet with other appraisers and form a network of resources.
Celebrate your profession and your place in it.
The final reason… it’s just fun!
